If you get chance Sarah when you next go to the vet, just ask them if you could have some hibi-scrub.
Hope Marble is ok.
I have found that sometimes Hibiscrub is a bit harsh and can aggravate an open wound - my vet says don't use on open wound but just bathe with tepid salt water.

Nappy rash ointment for babies is really good - and obviously very gentle - it's called Morhulin and get at any chemist - also brill for rashes, stings, bites etc. lways have some in.

Just keep an eye on it that it doesn't get infected (might need antibiotics) - again Morhulin good for that.

Wonder if that is a general fault and that collar may be dangerous to leave on our cats? (I don't use one - just regular front line)

Hope your poor baby gets better soon. hugs

In the end we just used warm salt water to keep it clean.
It healed up quite well, but she still has a little bald patch. The vet said it might not grow back but luckily she is fluffy, you cant really see unless you look for it.

Aw bless xx
When it has healed properly, try rubbing in a little coconut oil every evening.
Get it at the chemist (only cheap) - it is hard, but just rub a little between your fingers and it melts into oil. It's really good stuff and really encourages their fur to grow.

When I have had dog or cat gone through surgery, I use it where they shave them for needles - really helps.

Hope your little mite gets fully better soon - is she nervous since it happened or has she settled OK?
oh the trauma
