One of my friends is trying to switch her cat from Royal Canin to fish after I scared her with a pet food article saying how RC was actually quite bad. I'll let you know how she gets on. Afrika (the cat, not my friend lol) is a fussy spolit madam so we shall see.........

I dont think much to RC eitherAnd yes please
Mine all ahve fish but I dont feed it with their Orijen
They have 3 weeks of Orijen and one of Fish
Usually tinned mackeral, sardines and herring in a tin with oil
Odin will eat proper raw fish(inc heads ect) if its cut up also tripe, chicken, minces, a little veg He wont eat fruit so I add a very small amount to goats milk yoghurt and they all ahve goats milk

Poly is a jewel in the rough
Ive tried it with Joe....but not much joy...

I give him either applaws wet (chicken or fish) for breakfast or raw mince - usually chicken...

and then I leave biscuit down...Ive tried him with chopped chicken necks but he isnt interested much

I give RC at the moment - but will be switching to Orijen as I like the look of the ingredience far more

Heather has a spectacular aura about
I tried (without persevering at all) to feed our cat raw but decided it was too much hassle at the time. The nearest she gets to a raw diet is a few flies and the odd lizard or bird she catches.
At the moment I'm switching my wee dog Benji to raw (ran out of kibble and decided that was it). He's doing ok so far but ,like kira, doesn't like liver.

I feed the others Orijen Cat and they Love itCheapest and quickest place ive found is zooplus
Odin will eat minces and he will crunch on the small bones in chicken but I usually give him Beaphar (a bone builder to make sure he is getting enough calcium)
Cant imagine him crunching on a chicken drumstick (although he has tried bless him)
He sometimes nicks Kaiser's(as Kaiser is the only one who doesnt mind him poking his head into his bowl)Troy growls at him

bonanza1 is on a distinguished road
3 out of my 4 will nag Belinda for ages for some of the Gravadlax she likes, not sure if that counts as raw as it does have herbs, haven't tried them deliberately on any raw food as there is plenty of fresh stuff going in and out of the garden if they can be bothered to make an effort.

Regards

Ian
