I've just seen this on the DM website and wondered what people thought....

I have to say whilst I'm not saying this motorist was right to steal the dog, I can see why she felt the dog wasn't been properly looked after. The bit that got me was the owners feel it's fine to allow the dog to wander up to the local pub on it's own......

What do you all think?

Perhaps a tad over the top but I must admit there are times I feel like doing the same.

There is a young couple with 3 kids live a few doors down from me. They keep buting the kids a puppy because they ask for one.

Puppy No. 1 they gave away when they had a tiff and split up for a few weeks, before this it was forever escaping and I often had to take it back.

Puppy No.2 got out and hit by a car

Puppy No. 3 arrived the day after puppy 2. I have said already if it gets out I will take it to a rescue rather than take it back.

Dont get me wrong these folks aren't bad but seem to treat puppies as a toy or commodity to buy the kids off.

Ooh I hate people like your neighbour, why is it people seem to think they can buy and then pass on a puppy?? I totally understand why you would hand the 3rd puppy into a rescue.....
