Yeah I've got the book along with every German Shepherd book you can buy, I believe that you can never know to much about German shepherds. Mind you that is only my opinion.

Otto 's Mutter has a spectacular aura about
Before I had even found Otto I bought Best of Breed German Shepherd Dog by Andrew Winfrow. I read it cover to cover a number of times & found it really informative.

What we didn't realise until we looked back even further into Otto's ancestry is that his great grandfather x 13 is mentioned & has his photo in the book

I agree, I think you can never know too much however its frustrating when you have conflicting theroys and methods.... espeically for me being a 1st time dog owner! Its hard to know whats the right or wrong way. Ive learnt that its sometimes best to go with ur instincts and the individual dog

Definitely, you can't beat it!!!

I think my OH is getting tired of me telling him the forums says this or the forums say that. Oh and a regular one is someone else is having the same problem, Otto is normal!!!

I'm mid way through reading but the history part is different to everything else I have read on the breed. I'll try and get the pages scanned at the weekend.
