Overlook will become famous soon enough
Clay isn't a fan of the vets after he went in for 'the snip'. He's ok once there and in but it's quite a small room with a big table thing in the middle which he barks at when the door to the consulting room opens. Necessary evil though and we are lucky with our vet as she isn't fazed by his noise or size and is also very understanding of his breeding problems. We should all be so lucky really.

Soo glad it all went well at the vets' for you and Jess!

Diva absolutely loves the vet nurses at our Practice, well they all fuss so much over her each time we go there either for an appointment or just pop in for a quick weigh-in it's not surprising!!
She's not so sure about the vet tho as on her first routine check at 8 weeks, the vet decided that her anal glands (Diva's, not the vets' ) were full and needed to be 'expressed', we were not sure what she meant and so went along with it, BIG MISTAKE, Diva just went mental - well, wouldnt anyone? - and has been a bit weary of the vet since. However, to her credit the vet has been working hard to get back into Diva's good books and despite not being the best of friends yet, they are at least civil to each other!!

Glad you got on ok, I think if you panic and make a big deal out of the vets then your dog picks up on it. I just take lots of treats with me and made sure Diesel was weighed at the vets so we could go in do that and come out, he soon realised that the vets doesn't have to mean something is being done to him.

Now he lies down in the waiting room and loves all the attention he gets. Oscar on the other hand has to sit on my lap at the vets...LOL
