Personally I tend to go for the look of each individual dog, rather than 'type' or lines.

I like some dogs from all the lines.

A dogs character/personality means a lot to me, rather than looks.

I dont think it is that,.. the thing is that although there are differences with each line and each country,..its just too wide a question,.. add that to the fact that they are all German Shepherds,..and we all love German Shepherds in general thats why we are here after all.

Personaly I prefer the older style of the straight backed dogs, to me they look stronger, but that is not to say that there are also dogs that I like from each line and each country

Although I voted German it isnt all German dogs I like, the pictures you put up arent a true reflection either in Czech they have both show and work lines, the end picture not sure what that is but isnt an English showline, I do like some work lines from different countries but again not all

i must add though if I was going to rescue one with having grandchildren visiting I would only rescue a West German show line dog but it would have to be 100% WG (like Zandi) without any of the windyness of the English or crossed with any other line, otherwise I dont think i would be able to trust it with the kids
