Jude is on a distinguished road
Dogs that pace are frequently those who get a lot of lead walking at a slow ambling pace and tend to develop the gait because the speed of walking is too slow to allow them to walk comfortably.

is it a bad thing? can the rolling motion lead to other problems? I might try get a few videos of her, im not sure if the descriptions ive read tie in with her movement, she definitely does the same side movement when shes going slow. I first noticed it when she was offlead, at any speed it changes.

That makes sense. Most humans' gait is sooo slow for medium and large dogs. I walk quickly, and if I'm walking my dogs on-lead with someone else and have to slow down to their pace, my dogs start to pull as they get used to a decent speed
