Ban the sales of private fireworks in the UK

Private fireworks can happen every day of the year between 7am and 11pm, longer during some other days.

We all can see they are very dangerous (they are explosives) and do stress our pets.

The government has promised to debate in parliament any petitions which have the required number of signatures.

I've signed it too, I completely agree that there should only be organised displays on firework night, not every night for 2 weeks!

One thing we don't miss. You can't buy fireworks here in Queensland - but it did help prepare Ella-Bella for the terrible electrical storms we get here.......

I know - but sometimes when we have a really bad electrical storm I wish they were fireworks - it can be really, really scary - but not as scary as the massive eastern brown snake we saw at the dog walking park on Saturday!!!

I don't think I've ever seen or heard an electrical storm, they sound nasty!!

I have just got in from walking the dogs, and while we were out, 2 fireworks went off! Mine aren't worried, but I see a woman across the park have a job holding onto her collie as it tried to bolt!!! Idiots!!
