outdoor kennels

hey!

thinking of getting an outdoor kennel and attached run for my dogs to stay in after their walks when they are wet n dirty, and possible to sleep in at night.

does anyone use outdoor kennels? just looking for some pro's n cons to them.

also, what size do you think is best?

I have two male gsd and was thinking of 6x4ft sleeping area with 6x8 ft run area attached. (this is the biggest size i could it in my garden without having to move my shed!)

thanks guys!

the kennel and run would be covered and insulated.

They were my only concerns really that the little one might be housed overnight and it not being covered
Other than that I think IMO That its a good idea and one that I have thought about myself (although I couldnt bear to have them outside overnight)
I was thinking it would be a good place to feed them their Raw food as it would be easier to clean than my kitchen floor lol
Good luck with it whatever you decide and im sure others will be along soon to offer advice
