LOVEGSD is just really niceLOVEGSD is just really nice
I'm confuzzled!

I think when rehoming any dog there is always a settling in period and I think if you felt that Sarita wasn't the dog for your home for whatever reason then that's fair enough, no-one can judge you as you are the ones having to live with them.

I hope you don't feel that you have to leave the site, you are a valued member and I hope to see you posting again

memoirs of a shepherd will become famous soon enough
Gypsy, it's not so much what is right for us rather than it's what is right for Sarita, she was and always was going to be the number one priority due to her sad past and to offer her a lovely and loving home was the main objective, it's all gone straight down the pan now.

bonanza1 is on a distinguished road
When we looked into adopting Asbach we hadn't long lost Remy and the thing we were thinking about the most was what would be fair for Asbach and what would we regret more, leaving him there or not giving it a go. Sadly because of the biting incident it didn't work out fo us and we had to take him back but I don't regret giving it a go. I do still miss him and I believe he has been adopted again and hopefully the biting incident was a one off and that the new owners are aware of what happened. Asbach didn't work out for us but from other peoples posts on here adopting works more often than not.

I know that the incident the other day has "put the frightners" on you so to speak but I would guess the main question is would you regret not giving it a go more than taking the chance that it will work out for you. Your the only ones that can make that decision and I'm sure that everyone on here will back you what ever you decide to do. Just stay on the Forum please.

Regards

Ian
