Sarita ? 6- 8 year old female German Shepherd

SARITA is a 6 to 8 year old female German Shepherd. She was rescued from the pound on her last day before she was going to be destroyed. Poor Sarita hasn’t had a good life so far and seems to have lost all hope that she will ever know love or be wanted and her sparkle is gone, but Sarita has so much to offer. Though she tends to ignore people at first, she will gradually respond to being fussed over. She reacts slowly like she is nervous that she may be hit, but then she eventually enjoys the attention and will repay your kindness ten times over with her devotion.

Sarita is a quiet and undemanding girl who doesn’t expect much. She is good on the lead and is learning that the outdoors offers a whole new world of things to sniff and enjoy. Though she enjoys her walks, she does not require hours of exercise.
Sarita was very underweight when she came into Animal Helpline’s care but is slowly gaining weight. She enjoys her food and is just beginning to learn about the joys of treats and chews. She does not seem to know what toys are, the poor girl.
Sarita is very good with other dogs and mixes well with both big and small dogs. She travels well in the car, is toilet trained and is not destructive or noisy when left in the house. It is felt Sarita would do better in a home with older children as young children would be too much for her.

Sarita is looking for her angel, that special person who can give her back her sparkle and make her enjoy being a doggy again. This beautiful girl deserves to be be loved, safe and well cared for.

memoirs of a shepherd will become famous soon enough
Both facial photos of this poor girl are just like our Brandy looked on the day we had to have her pts, it's shocking to see this lovely shepherd looking so low.
I hope Sarita finds a special home soon and regains some level of trust in humans, we're not all bad.
Bless her

We've held discussions at home and guess what, we're going to make enquiries about giving this girl a forever home.
Will update soon.
