Dog Rescue Chat - Billy

I know it's not a helpful comment and I wish I could help, but it makes you soooo sick doesn't it? Lovely boy treated like crap............. why do they have a dog like this in the first place?

I completely agree with you both....it breaks my heart reading their stories and I wish with all my heart I was in a position to rescue a Shepherd....I think my next Shep will be a rescue, there's just too many out there that need homes.

I find it really difficult looking at this section of the forum. I hate seeing unwanted dogs. Having brought Lucy home from Greece, you all know i am a big softie, and if i had a big house with loads of land, i would adopt them all! But, reality is, that it is not possible. So perhaps i shouldn't look in this section any more, but curiosity always gets the better of me x

It just makes me ask the question why bother getting a dog?! They don't come ready trained do they? You have to put in a lot of time and effort to have a good dog.....but if you do then you will be rewarded and it's so worth all the effort.

You know the saddest thing of all, its when your old shep dies and you go to a rescue center and your told a def no, my daughter lost her beloved shep at the good old age of 13, because she has two children no way would anyone let her have one, saddest thing is it would have had a wonderful home.

That's just crazy and only shows how little some know about the breed and families. My boys are just 9 and 5 and they know all too well how to behave around my little man...the best of friends
