I don't usually DO this.....

But i was looking through Preloved website for something else and i came across this ad...

Preloved | german shepherd for sale in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear, UK

Quote:
female black and tan puppy please contact for more details no paper work hence price, ready now
seriously, this poor puppy.... no indications as to how old but how can someone offload a puppy so quickly?!
What if she has problems? is this going to be her second, third home?!

I'm usually against judging people who sell their dogs, but this one seems a little close to home, i'd be stupid if i didn't at least try and direct this pup towards people who CARE about the breed, and not treat this pup like a throwaway convenience!!

I can buy her, but i can't keep her... is it worth buying and putting into rescue or can someone on here help??

I can well understand how you feel, I can see how careing you are,..and it would be nice to rescue every dog around,.. but sadly we cant.

£150 is a lot of money for you to spend so that you can give the pup to a rescue, I am sure you can find a rescue to except the pup, but then that is the last you would see of it or its future,..its a nice jesture, but think hard before you do it

LOVEGSD is just really niceLOVEGSD is just really nice
Bless you for being so caring but if you start you'll never stop there are so many needy pups and dogs it's heart breaking

I avoid these sites for this reason cos I would love to help but I can't take any more dogs.....until I win the lottery and get land!

i knooow, its so hard, especially since its only a pup!

But you are right, i can't save them all! i'm not a full member of the site so i will need to give it a few days but if the ad is still up tomorrow when i can reply i might give it a go and see what the craic is.
It could be genuine, but i just got a gut feeling that it isn't!

Looks a bit suspicious to me... I would avoid like the plague personally....

It’s strange that there is hardly any info given regarding the pup.... not even its age or sex?

Wonder if it has been stolen....

theres loads of these ads on this type of site on a regular basis, some of them are scams, where there is no pup at all, and they trick people into handing over money.

Me and hubby checked out a litter of pups a couple of years ago, supposedly gsd?? They showed us the mother, last pup from litter, and it was so obviously a collie cross shepherd with the markings and muzzle shape it had (approx 12 weeks old)

we have also reported a puppy farm to the rspca too..

some people are just always gonna be irresponsible

I too am a save them all type.. I get so annoyed at times
