free to very good home

kane is four years old and shy i have no experiance with gsd,s and now he has gotten shy until he gets to know you i need him rehomed as i only got a small garden and no longer can take him walks due to a slipped disk
he is house trained but needs futher training he wont walk properly on a lead but he will walk of lead and comes back when called i rather see him go to someone with experiance than see him put down
he loves playing ball i live in essex uk and have no transport so if you are interested in him you have to come collect him he is halp collie dog too not a full gsd but once he gets to know you he is very loyal and friendly i have four kids who he has grown up with but we can no longer handle him as he pulls a lot

Stuart has much to be proud ofStuart has much to be proud ofStuart has much to be proud of
Would you keep him if he was better trained?, would you keep him if he didnt pull on lead?

If he really has to go then a better idea is a rescue centre,..if not then a photo would help

It seems a pity that you dont want him after having him for four years

I understand you must be in a predicament but please dont even think about having your boy put down, he may be a bit 'difficult' to handle but he seems healthy and with the right training could be a great companion for someone else!

A far better option would be to contact your local rescue centre.

Please be very careful advertising your dog free to good home!!!There have been a lot of instances recently where dogs have been advertised free to good home, and a so called loving family has got the dog, for the dog to then be given to gangs to use as a bait dog in dog fights!!! If you really feel that rehoming him is the best option for everyone involved, please contact a rescue organisation!! There are lots of German shepherd rescues around the country and general rescues centres that would be willing to rehome him for you.

ClaireandDaisy will become famous soon enough
Please give your dog to a local Rescue or contact a good GSD Rescue. They will home check and keep the dog safe.
I am in Essex so will pm you the name of a couple of rescue options

Good Morning

Can i just ask how old your kids are?? could they not take the dog for a walk, if they are old enough surley with an harness they could handle him

And since being a puppy has he not always had the same size back garden to run in or have you just moved property???

Its a shame to give a dog up after 4 years tbh it would break me

Please don't let your lovely dog just go to anyone.
There are some vile people out there.
You have shared your life with your dog for four years, please make sure the rest of his life he will be in a good home and loved.
You really don't need a big garden, he just needs exercise, may be on a gencon and a bit of training.
Good luck to you and your beautiful boy.
Mazz
