Puppy needs special home

Hi am looking for a special home for 1 of my pups, stevie.

He is an all black male pup and is 8 weeks old, but is BLIND.

If i could keep him i would but do not have the room,

He has just returned from the vets, who have given him a clean bill of health apart from his eye site,

i do not want to put him into a rescue centre, as he is happy being here with his mum & dad ,or is there any centre's that would be able to rehome, but he stay's he with me till the right home is found.

we are looking for someone who prefable already has had a blind dog as they would know what to expect.

please pm me if you are 100% sure u can offer stevie a permenant home for the rest of his life around 12yrs.

i am in essex.

This is so sad.
I do feel this pup is totally your responsibilty though and if a forever home cant be found then you as a breeder should keep him-forever.
Pups/Dogs dont need much room at all, and there is always space if you look for it.
Please dont give him away because you have no room. (this is something you have to think about before breeding.
Linda

LucyA is on a distinguished road
Big hugs to Stevie and hoping the perfect home comes along, would love to be able to offer a home, however, have no experience with blind dogs and a long way to go with my boy before I would think about another pup.
Shame! Good Luck Stevie!! xx

I have experience with a blind pup/dog, but unfortunately no room where I currently live.
You say you own sire & dam then please have them neutered - espcialy if HC

This may sound harsh but you just had room for a litter of pups didn't you?

If you can see the carpet then you have room and surely if you bred the pup you should be taking responsibility and not palming him off on someone else.

I may be totally wrong and can only go by what you have written but boy you have really pxxxed me off

Whatever happens, I hope he gets a home where he has the love and affection he deserves

Bonniesmummy is a jewel in the rough
I really hope you find a home for Stevie.

I know it's the responsability of the the owner/breeder to look after or find homes for their pups but, only going by what has been written so far, I think (IMO) that the OP is doing the right thing if it's something they feel they can't deal with/dont have the experience for/ dont have room for.

If these are the reasons being given then this pup will be best suited to a home where he will be loved and cared for because he is wanted and owners have knowledge of how to deal with this.

I wish I knew what I was doing and could help, but I'm in no position too

Good luck hunni in finding Stevie a forever home. xxx
