Jasper is a 9 year old male German shepherd and Demi is a 10 year old female German shepherd. What can we say about these two! They are gorgeous, despite their recent traumas. Jasper and Demi came into our care via the local authorities. who had to remove them from their home, the authorities contacted a rescue centre who were unable to help, so they contacted us. They have both been given a clean bill of health by our vets except for some muscle wastage in their back legs.
We believe they have had little exercise or care recently and both are underweight, they are now both gradually gaining weight. Jasper is a stunning lad, a mini horse, he is a large German Shepherd with a presence and carriage that makes you feel proud to walk him, he knows basic commands and sits when told, he loves a treat and enjoys his walks. Demi is much smaller, quite a small German shepherd, she has a long coat which will need regular grooming to keep it in tip top condition.
Demi loves water and if the hose pipe is out Demi becomes a puppy again. Both are quite good on a lead and travel well. Looking to the future we would love to find this pair a loving home soon, being mature of age and a pair (they must be rehomed together) they may struggle to find a new home but do consider them, all GSD fans will fall instantly in love with them. After all they have been through it would now be a very happy ending if they can at last find a loving secure forever home.
UPDATE: Jasper and Demi had a break from kennels for the weekend. They were the perfect house guests. They maybe a pair* but would fit into home life so well and would be a easy pair.
