Hi i am new

Hi am looking for a young GSD. I live in Kent and don't drive. I have a 7 year old son who has aspergers and would get great pleasure out of having a dog.
I have a nice size garden and plenty of places for long walks.
If anyone can help please let me know many thanks.

I agree with you. Children with AS have social dificulties and find it very difficult communicating with other children and making friends. - especially as they become teenagers, which can be the most difficult time for them. A dog would probably help your son a lot as he would have a very special friend in which he could talk to and attach a good bond with. It might help him to learn to communicate better with his peers as it would give him a common topic to talk to other children about.

Hi and Welcome,..I hope you find your dog,..I am sure you will, but dont rush it, look with care,... if you do go down the rescue route, then tell them all about your son, his needs and wants, and let them guide you to the right dog

Remember that `guide` being only that, you will need to feel right about the dog, if you are in any doubts return the dog

Good luck
