Home needed for German Shepherd Dog - Leeds

Hello

I am moving house and have a GSD bitch about 4 years old. I cant not take her
with me because of the new living arrangements. She is a very beautiful dog and
has always had good health. I am looking for a forever home. I have a 3 year
daughter old who she is fine with but she does not get along with cats and barks
at other dogs. Please contact me if you are at all interested.
Please do not think that this is an easy decision for me I have try everything I can to not have to lose my dog.

Hi Steven,,... hope you find her a new home, but please dont give or sell her to anyone, I am sure you would not want her to end up as a bait dog. [ no matter how nice the people seem ]

There are rescues around, these are probably your best bet [ if you dont get anyone interested here ] they will see that she gets a good home for you

I take it you mean specific GSD rescue societies Stuart? I know if heaven forbid Lukey had to be rehomed that is the only rescue I would consider. I personally would not rehome to someone I did not know VERY WELL or to the RSPCA but that's me.

Stephen, under your first post are 2 small boxes with a red 'x' in them and I wonder if these were meant to be pics of your girl but I have clicked them and nothing happens.

Sorry to hear you feel this is the only way....

I would recommend a GSD specific rescue as well....

To be honest I dont know Linda,.. certainly a GSD rescue would know the dogs better, and therefore would be the best people to rehome safely.

.... but any rescue is going to be better than a newspaper, I realy dont know much about other rescues,.. I certainly agree with you,.. I would never suggest to anyone that they leave their dog with the RSPCA
