Beauty is two years old and she was spayed on 24th July 2008. She has been vacc. on 8th July and 24th July and has been wormed and treated for fleas, ticks, etc. and the vet says she is in good health. She is mostly black with tan legs and is not very big. She is a GSD and has papers but the owner kept them.
Beauty was brought into a vet for either rehoming or putting down. He did not want to put her down so kept her at his surgery and asked me to find he a home. She was rather shy when she arrived but the next day had made friends with him and his vet nurse and played during the day with other dogs in his kennels. I collected her last Tuesday and brought her to my own vet who has kennels. She was very good in the car and not sick, spent most of the time looking out of the window. Again she was rather shy of the new people and place but let people pet her and John, my vet, who is very good with dogs, she took to almost immediately. When I called the next day to take photos, she was playing around in his big grass enclosure with three other dogs, two Collies and a smaller dog. She wa quite happy, came over to the fence to talk to me and when John went in to bring her out to be photod, she went up to him to have the lead put on. As you will see in some of the pics, she is near rabbits. She took no notice but was busy watching the painters working.
Beauty is a lovely girl, she lived in a quiet place and has not seen much of life so is a bit shy at first but as soon as she feels confident in an environment she is happy. I think she will be a very faithful dog and very affectionate.
Beauty is desperate for a home of her own. She has made great progress with her foster dad but needs to be in her own home soon as she is getting too dependant on him. She is a sweetheart that needs her confidence building up due to being very sheltered in her early life.
