Cass - 2 year old female German Shepherd Dog

Meet Cass, a 2 year old female German Shepherd who came into the Mayhew because she wasn’t getting along with her owners new dog. She does generally get along with other dogs, but would prefer to be the only dog in the household. She gets along with cats and would be suitable to live with children. Cass is house-trained and can be left on her own for periods of 2 hours.



It’s not essential that she goes to training classes with her new owners, however she is looking for owners who will have researched the commitment and hard work involved in caring for a dog, she may need to be taken to training classes dependant on her new guardians experience. She will need a mimum of 1 hour off lead exercise daily.

So the other dog was new? But they decided to get rid of her? No offence to the newer dog but you'd think the owners would have some kind of loyalty towards her as she lived there first.

I totally agree Ria, why was she given up, poor baby girl was there first!!! This section makes me so biddy angry at times...people treat dogs as a throw away thing, no long term committment to them at all
