Hazel - 8 year old female German Shepherd

Hazel is a a lovely 8 year old female German Shepherd. She came to us riddled with fleas and some of her coat is still missing because of this. We also think she has been used for breeding, so the poor girl really needs a loving home.

Hazel would be most suited to a quiet and understanding household who could help bring her out of her shell as she is a very shy girl at the moment.

Oh my, poor girl...she looks lovely! Don't they all!!!!

This is getting sadder by the hour! How many more of these poor hounds are going to have to go through rehoming...

She does look like a gorgeous girl, god I just can't bear to see all these dogs needing re-homing...why don't people bloody well think about what they are taking on and stop breeding their pets!!!!!!!!!

That's the whole problem Lynn, people just don't think properly about their responsibilities, and in this throwaway world, that includes animals as well

I will never be able to understand that....I know there are some cases where people have no choice but I would still fight every step of the way to keep Diesel no matter what the circumstances.

He's our baby boy and the thought of him being with anyone else beings tears to my eyes now even thinking about it

I know that feeling Lynn, and I feel exactly the same as you. I often think how lucky our dogs are, to have come to us, they could have ended up anywhere! I often tell mine, they don't realise what charmed lives they lead

God you're so right.....poor Deez was not in a good place when we took him on, I dread to think how he would have happened to him had we not taken him.
