Max and Sadie ? 6 and 12 year old male and female Labrador Retriever and German Sheph

We are loooking for a home for Max who is a 6 year old Labrador and Sadie who is a 12 year old German Shepherd Dog together, they are on foster in Salford.



Max is a typical Labrador, cheeky and full of fun, he has lots of energy and can be boisterous in play. He is good with other dogs, great with people and smaller people although due to his bouncyness we think a home with over 5 year old children. His basic training is good and he is 100% house trained,he walks well on the lead but can pull if he sees another dog or something exciting. We feel an active home would be best. Max loves balls, squeaky, raggies – and loves to play fetch, even in the house! He loves swimming, playing with hosepipes and playing with water in general.



He is very food-focused which helps with recall and training. Max sleeps through every single night, a very easy dog to look after – he’s great fun when you want to play, but also relax and chilled out for most of the day. He is a very happy dog, always smiling and wagging – and always happy to play.

Now for his lovely older sister Sadie.

Sadie is a 12 year old German Shepherd, her coat needed some work when she came in, some matts have had to be cut out but Sadie has coped with this very well, and when her coat grows back with regular grooming she will be back to her beautiful self soon. Although old Sadie has a lot of life left in her yet and loves to go for walks and get into mischief on them with Max.



She is a gentle and affectionate dog who at home likes to spend her time sleeping. Sadie is good with other dogs and children and just needs a home where she can relax and do things at her own pace , she is 100% house trained and has good basic training.

These 2 dogs will make a lovely ready made dog family for anybody , a bit of everything for everyone …fun and games for the children with Max and cuddles and quiet love with Sadie.

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family.
