George is a gorgeous 2 year old male German Shepherd who is sadly in rescue because his previous owners moved house and couldn’t take him with them. Sadly George has been in kennels for 4 months now. George has always been the ‘much loved pet’. He has lived with children and is bouncy with dogs, but settling.
George needs a family up for a large ‘guard type ‘ dog. He needs training in his recall and lots of high value treats will do the trick. His instincts are social though hesitant. His presence is unassuming and I can tell you he takes up less room than a terrier! Currently his thick fur needs diligent work to lift out his very heavy undercoat in prep for a home life again. (Kennel staff hard pressed this time of year)!
He is majestic in looks, George is mesmerising to behold. Coupled with a lovely nature. Now that George is neutered, we are keeping his suitcase packed ready. So get your homing questionnaire in quick … you maybe in with a chance!
“Please note that this dog is currently in kennels and is also available for foster until a ‘forever’ home is found”.
