Ellie is a black German Shepherd Dog who is 2 years old. Ellie’s owner is expecting a baby shortly and cannot give Ellie the time and training she needs. She is with her owner in Leicester. Ellie is a very intelligent, energetic dog who needs lots of attention and exercise. Despite being well socialised from an early age she later developed a fear of other dogs and can be nervous at times.
She has attended training classes and picks things up quickly. She can sit, stay, get in her basket on command and is very good at fetch. She picks up commands very fast and is very intelligent. She walks well on the lead although she pulls a little at times. Off lead she is perfect and will not stray but she does not like other dogs approaching her. Ellie has been neutered, fully vaccinated and has been regularly wormed and de-flead.
Ellie needs to be rehomed as an only dog to a home that is experienced in the breed and is willing to take her to training classes to iron out some of her little issues.
