Lost GSD called Ozzy

Crossed post from another forum. Please keep any eye out for this boy, he has only been in this country for a few days so really doesnt have a clue:

Well, we couldnt have had a worse start to our new life back in the UK. My brother went to let out Sasha & Ozzy at lunchtime yesterday & something spooked Ozzy & he ran away. He was seen a few times yesterday afternoon but was too scared to come to anyone that called him as he didnt know them. We flew in last night around 8pm & went straight out looking for him but couldnt find him & eventually had to stop as it was too late to keep shouting his name. As soon as it gets light we'll be out again & we've notified the local police/dog wardens etc. I'm worried sick-he's not used to the area, has no road sense & is not used to the cold. I know there's a couple of members in the Lancashire area so please keep an eye out for him-he was last seen in Rishton, near Blackburn at around 3pm yesterday. Also if you can cross post this to any forums you are on, it would be appreciated, the more people keeping a look out for him, the better. He is microchipped but with a Spanish microchip so dont know if it will come up on our systems, I need to ring the vets this morning & find out. He is normally very placid but is really scared & tried to bite the last person that tried to grab his collar so if anyone finds him, please dont try to grab him, just ring me on 07960 279983 & I'll come for him (I know I'm not supposed to post my phone number but I'm desperate) He is the dog on the left of my avatar & was wearing a read collar. Thanks.

This is the ladies avatar

Have posted this on another forum I belong to. The link doesn't work though for the photo.

Ozzy hopefully has been sighted in the Oswestwhistle (sp) area
I have put him on five different forums and emailed all contacts.
Rochdale dog rescue are aware and have many contacts in the area all who have been informed.
This is so distressing for his poor owner.

Cross post from Cath Ozzy's owner

We had reports of a loose GSD living in a large park in Blackburn called Corporation park. After 3 hours walking around in the snow (not much fun at 8 months pregnant) we found a park ranger who said there was a GSD living rough there but after seeing a pic of Ozzy he was pretty sure that it want him. We decided to go home for some lunch & then go back anyway, just to see if we could find it & put our mind at rest. As we got back to the park in the afternoon, we got a phone call from a friend who said someone had seen him in Rishton this morning, about 5 mins walk from my mum's house. The man who saw him said it was definately the same dog as the photo on Ozzy's poster. So, we headed back to Rishton to walk up & down looking for him. Hubby spotted the milk lady & asked her if she'd seen him & she said she'd seen him in the early hours of this morning & again it was definately him. So, she has our numbers & we've told her to ring us if she sees him, no matter what time. We carried on looking until it went dark & then gave up & came home. We're going to go back out in the early hours of the morning with Sasha to see if we can see him as I have a feeling that he is only coming out very late at night/early in the morning when its quiet.
