The Dog that I was referring too in the other thread http://www.mygermanshepherd.co.uk/fo...ed-please.html was Lexi that Jo fostered over Christmas apparently she was chewing in her new home,(8 months old) I passed on all your advice (thank you) but she is coming back tomorrow.
My heart breaks for this poor sweet girl.

Please excuse the french, but I,m with you there Joanne, f----n fuming

Joanne is taking her tomorrow, she was happy there.

Unbelievable!!!

What do people want/expect in a dog?

God help all those poor dogs that do have real problems. This little girl and her sister sound so sweet.

She was not in the homes long enough to have caused problems - show me any 8 month old GSD that does not chew!!! One of mine pretty nearly wrecked my house (before the days of crates) - ate a sofa, chair and carpet to name a few things!!!

Hopefully the people will stick to stuffed toys in future!!!

Oh well - at least their loss is Joanne's gain (well done Joanne!!) I am sure Lexi will turn out to be a real star.

Sue

Well what can I say Lexi is home and lol I am thinking she caused mischeif cos she wanted to come back to me

She arrived back here around 1ish and its like she has never been away . George is over the moon to have his little playmate back, I am still so angry that she was given up so soon but the love we all have for her she will soon forget the dickheads that I sent her too Katie was over the moon when both me and Lexi met her at school she was like is that lexi, but was upset that the new mum and dad after a week gave her up and she is only 8, Jessica knows that lexi is home but is staying at her friends tonight but she has given me instructions that Lexi is to sleep on her bed like before .......dogs on beds me

Anyway since she has been home she has eaten, poo'd and wee'd where she should off, nicked George's bed, nicked his ball and rope actually nicked all his toys lol..............is she happy I say yes, is she naughty I say yes, is she being a normal playfull pup I say yes has she chewed anything.......NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO lol not yet !!

Welcome to your forever home Lexi xxxx

*Hilary if you can drop a half check collar to me that would be fabby cos pets at home had none & lol I have spent your donation on things for lexi ...*

Ah..

What a lovely story i am lying in my bed weeping some people are just PRATS yes some puppys do chew hell i have a beautiful 4 cupboard pine dresser that Odin decided to chew on at the bottom , then it was the wood at the bottom of my stairs heck at one stage he was trying to eat my baby grand piano lol but puppys will be puppys and you have to expect these things as any normal dog lover would know .
I am just so glad theres a lovely home now for her as i was getting a bit worried thinking i was going to have to rescue her myself.

Well Lexi has been here just over 24hrs and lol she has sure made herself well and truly at home

lol ropmsl last night George attempted to hump Lexi and it was the most funniest thing I have ever seen in my life, cos he never had a bloody clue what to do...........me thinks that Lexi is starting her season , lol poor George is now covered in perfume fpmsl its called aromatics by clinque

Never took her out last night thought I would let her settle in.......4ish this morning she jumped on the bed as she did before and lol Gentle Giant George so had to follow her...........I ended up sleeping on the couch

Took Lexi out on her own this morning and she walked like a dream, lol lots of owners of a 8mth old puppy would be so jealous of how well she behaved

Jessica returned from her friends today so Lexi & George have been full on played with............they both spent the afternoon sleeping xx

Just returned back from walking both George & Lexi and again it was a dream walk was dreading it cos I had them on a duel lead.......but no problems, lexi even sat at the kurb when told however when I let her of the lead she rolled in the mud, and yes lol she shuck all the mud over me.......me thinks I will be needing advice from the pac a mac geek clubs for ideas on suitable clothing lol

Have to admitt tho Lexi still has a fetice for shoes.............Katie has lost one of her boots ..........that will teach her in the future to put her shoes away.

Lexi has made her bed, she no's she is home xx
