I have to admit that Dobermans are not one of my favorate breed of dogs,.. but I also have to admit, that to the best of my knowledge I dont think I have ever known one.

Somehow, they do not come across as being very loving,.. but of course this could be the way that the dog has been portrade, like the Rottie, but I see a warmth in the Rottie that I dont see in the Doberman

I have known many years ago two dobermans
A male and female
The male was soft as anything but the female was quite nasty(she had to be put in the garden when visitors came to the house
I was probably about 16 at the time but still remeber it well
I think like rotties, staffies and even GSD's they do get a bad name because of irresponsible owners ect
No dog can be fully domesticated IMO They will always have a wild streak in them.

I havnt met Ollie but Shane is a great Bloke very sincere(he's in the ambulance service too and sometimes works with my partner so he's very genuine)
If anyone can helpp please let me know urgently
i think contacting a rescue would be best, as that will atleast give him back up if the person can't keep him. Also they will make sure the people that rehome him get him for the right reasons.

also some rescued don't put them in kennels but they actually stay in their current home until a new suitable home is found.

Your probably right but he didnt want this for Ollie and he isnt able to have him where he is living either
He has less than a week now before his wife kicks Ollie out and then he will have no choice but to send him to a rescue
