Cain is an entire 5 year old German Shepherd Dog. Cain was seized by the RSPCA where he was found to be living in filthy conditions along with 7 other dogs and 4 cats, these included 2 12 week old puppies. Cain’s coat was saturated with urine and the dogs hadn’t been walked since last November. Cain was taken to our volunteers home where he has since been bathed. Cain is currently in boarding kennels in Surrey.
Our assessor says that Cain is a really friendly boy, likes people, children, other dogs and cats. Our assessor kept him for the night and he happily mixed well with her two GSD’s and cats. He happily sat in the bath to get rid of the smell of the urine, and was great when groomed, lying down with his legs in the air to have a tummy tickle.
Cain pulls a little on the lead, nothing major and easily dealt with, he does however have some separation anxiety, again something that could be easily dealt with. He does like the company of other dogs, so we would like to rehome him with another dog.
