Casper and Blue are a lovely pair of 7-8 year old male German Shepherd Dogs who need to be re-homed together, as Blue relies on Casper to feel secure. Casper is good with other dogs and has lived with cats before. He is a little uneasy around men he doesn’t know and, because he is an energetic big lad, best homed with children 10 years old or over.
He gets separation anxiety so will need somone home most of the time. When upset he will move items around the house to comfort himself but does not chew things. Casper is an affectionate dog who loves a cuddle. His long coat will need regular grooming.
He knows some basic commands and is not housetrained, so will need further training from his new owner. He enjoys learning and already behaves well when he is happy. A typical German Shepherd, Casper is vocal and active. He will need someone willing to take him for walks with lots of play. He walks nicely on a halti lead.
Casper had some problems with his hips when he was 4, but has been fine since. Blue is a laid-back dog, he loves a fuss and his long coat will need regular grooming. He knows some basic commands and is not housetrained, so will need further training from his new owner.
