We rescued Tex about 2 years ago from a german shepherd rescue place in Bedford he was filthy dirty and underweight. He couldn't eat because he had masticatory muscle myosis something that the rescue place were unaware of - they were also unaware that he was arthritic and had some disk damage/problems to his back you could feel hot parts along his spine, and some weakness in his front and back legs hence why he walked along whilst peeing and pooping. I had him put to sleep today on advice from the vet who said eventually he would not of been able to walk and that it would probably come on sudden, as it had done on our walks. I am to put it politely fed up that the rescue place 'did not notice' any problems with him and as they weren't told by the previous owners son they would not of known. Rubbish!!
