Tonight he's either been wandering about the house as if he's been looking for her or been really clingly with us. This is so awful. I'm crying as I type this.

this happened to our dog Bruce he got out the garden with Suzie they decided to take there self's for a walk but sadly we only found Suzie we put Suzie on the lead to go back out to look for Bruce, we was walking towards the pit and Suzie started to pull the other way and refused to move so we went where she wanted us to on the way we got stopped and this man told us a German shepherd had been ran over and taken to the vets,
we rang the vets up till we found which 1 he was at and went to see him my poor pup had 42 stitches on his head he tried to stand tail wagging and he did the only injury was to his head and it seemed he would get better until they put the drip in a severed his nerve endings so then he could no longer stand the vet admitted that he had inserted it wrong and that we would have to have the leg amputated but we could not do this with him having bad joints that was only getting worse each winter so the other option was to say goodbye and we did it was the hardest decision ever my baby boy would not of been able to get upstairs climb on his chair so his life would ov been miserable for him so we said goodbye as he fell asleep in my dads arms
the vet said we was not aloud to take him home but my dad just picked our brave boy up and took him home our suzie kept trying to get out to look for him she wouldn't eat she cried all the time so we showed her bruce she went bounding up to my dad who was holding bruce wagging her tail we placed bruce on the floor and suzie sniffed him gave him a kiss n laid down,
we had a proper funeral for bruce and he is buried in the front garden under the window we sit out there and when we have bbqs suzie gets bones and puts them on his grave same with toys suzie got over it and the hurt seemed to fade we still get upset bout are boy but we are thankful we got to know him ad have them happy years together
im sorry to hear of your loss but things will get better in time we dint think it would but time heals everything
