Max 13-10-2010 RIP

Still seems hard to imagine that hes gone, but i want this be more about celebration than commiseration.

Our first ever glimpse of the hairy little fecker, sent by my sister. 'Flat Eric' he was known as then, due to his size and the fact he used to lay on his belly with his legs splayed out!

Cuddled up with his mum

One of my fave pics of him, looking good!!!

Out for a walk at our favourite place. No phone signal, nobody around and the best part of two hours of peace and quiet

With a random stray that walked into our yard at work, i took her home and cleaned her up...she plonked herself down in Max's bed, started chewing on one of his bones and he just lay on the floor and sat watching her. Not a nasty bone in his body

And now for some of Max and his best friend in the world, Tia...

Anyone have an explanation for the orbs in the above two pics?

The photo above was the last i ever took of him, on the sunday before.

So, RIP hairy dude, no more drugs, no more fits and no more pain...i know your in a better place. See you when i get there.

Thanks guys. Ianock? The pictures were taken on a mobile phone camera. And the two pics were taken seconds apart, plus the orbs are different sizes. I don't know, but I like to think it's real Especially where the orb is over his head, Max was epileptic and the vet thinks he had a brain tumour

Anyway, sadness aside, as this is a happy thread. Here's some of pics I took in the summer.

I love this one, Max spent ages just looking over the lake. Very peaceful and it was lovely to sit and watch him.

This made me laugh, Max was enjoying his paddle until 'Duckzilla' chased him out the lake squakking! Max refused to go back in until 'Duckzilla' had safely floated past

Having a rest and well needed drink

With our goddaughter Natasha. She loved him, used to sit on his bed with him feeding him bones

Tia again, she was never far away from her comfy cushion

Chilling with Monica, his big sister... Monica wasn't ours, she belonged to Jon's sister Karen, GSD breeder and the lady who blessed us with Max

Down our local park, just love the expression on his face
