My Mateese is on a distinguished road
In loving memory of "my mateese"

IN LOVING MEMORY OF
"MY MATEESE"

Even though it has been quite a few years back I
I will never forget "My Mateese" what a wonderful
companion, best friend and protector she was.
She was very very large and big boned, a lot
of black on her face, very intimadating looking
she just knew what I wanted her to do, she could
read my mind I think. We were insepertable, the
only time we were apart is when I went to work.
She loved company and simply adored children,
on the other hand if needed she would have fought
her death for me. I taught her hand commands along
with verbal. A screamer she was (a singer) when
my mom would come over you should have heard
" Mateese," I had to tell the neighbor I wasn't hurting
her, she was just happy.

I bought her and brought her home at age 8 weeks and
I lost her at 91/2 yrs old to cancer. That day
she let me know it was time, Part of me went with her
she will be FOREVER IN MY HEART. That was on good
Friday 1999. It took me 4 years to look at her pictures.
I LOVED HER SO MUCH and still do. I had a cat that
was grieving her so I was trying to find a kitten for him.
I did not want another dog........................the lady I
finally found a kitten from called me in a few months
and told me she had a White Shepherd/Golden Retriever
mix pup that was going to the pound and would I come
and at least look at her. The women did not like the pups
because she raised and showed White Shepherds and the
Golden had got with her best female. I went could very
clearly see she was being abused at only 8 weeks old, so
of course she came home with me. Her name is Schaudeh,
Schaudeh will be 12 in April, I keep telling her no more aging,
I believe I saved her life, it took me a little while to
warm up I was still grieving so bad. Then I lost both
my parents in 2000, I moved into their home which they
wanted me to, I was just dying inside, that is when I
got "Hunter" my beautiful Red Dobe, I lost him in 2009
to heart and bone cancer. He was as gentle as a lamb.

I love adore and respect German Shepherds she was all
German, my uncle did a complete family tree on "Mateese"
because everything was in German so was he and he
translated everything for me. I loved her beyond the
beyond she was my RIGHT ARM.

GOD BLESS YOU MATEESE, I KNOW YOU ARE IN HEAVEN THAT
IS THE ONLY PLACE YOU COULD BE. MY PRECIOUS GIRL.
YOU ARE WITH ME ALWAYS, YOU ARE
THE BREEZE THAT BLOWS
YOUR SPIRIT IS HERE WITH ME AND ALWAYS WILL BE.

I LOVE YOU

My Mateese is on a distinguished road
A letter from your pet in heaven

A Letter From Your Pet In Heaven

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from the Bridge. Here I dwell with God above.
Here there's no more tears of sadness. Here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you... in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years,
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night... "My day was not in vain."

And now I am contented... that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along I made somebody smile.

God says: "If you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

When you're walking down the street with me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind."

"And when it's time for you to go... from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going... you're coming here to me."
