wildmoor has disabled reputation
the mind plays tricks when grieving and it is part of the reaction to this to visualise what is not there

Why shouldn't Harry want to keep an eye on you? You gave him what was probably the best 16 months of his life & he still wants to take care of you.
I agree he is probably showing himself as young and happy as you made him feel I would love to see my past babies. when I lost Ziggy I prayed for her to come to me but she perhaps thinks i don't need her if its is him cherish the moments

Matrix/Logan has a spectacular aura about
As you all know i have 3 dogs, now Matrix came to us as a 4week old rescue pup to be rehomed when old enough (i was a vet nurse previously and was asked to hand rear him then find him a home when old enough)and he just ''stayed''. Then i bought Logan for my OH as a presant a few weeks before he lost his old boy (gsd x lab) to lessen the blow, i think that's why i did it!? as i remember the hole that was left behind in my own heart when i lost my last GSD Wizard.

I wasn't ready to have another dog but Matrix and Logan were the childrens and the OH's so i didn't feel i was betraying Wizard (don't get me wrong, i love them all to bits, if that makes sense!?)

Anyway i was browsing for alaskan malamute pups on line cos i love looking at their pictures, then i found Blade's litter and thought WOW! they sound gorgeous. That night Wizard came to me in a dream and said ''have Blade and you will get a little of me in him''! I know it sounds mad but it was the okay that i needed to have my own dog again, so Blade joined the family and is so much like Wizard was it is unreal. The bond we have is so strong it sometimes scares me because i remember the pain i went through when i lost Wizard. Anyway sorry to waffle but i believe they are still there somewhere in our lives to help us through and find us another soulmate when the time is right for us!

No idea what that's all about.. I'd like to think the spirit of our animals is with us in some form.
I had this too after losing my old persian cat years ago, after he was put to sleep, for months i would go to bed and actually FEEL him jump up onto the bed with me!!! Spooky but very lovely to know they are still with you. X
