ArchandEbs will become famous soon enough
Some of you may think I'm mad but....

As some of the long term members here may know I adopted a 13 year old gsd. He was in terrible condition when I got him and had a few issues but with love and tlc he became a wonderful dog. I was devestated when he died 16 months later.

A few weeks ago we were doing the circuit - Harry's favourite walk and out of the corner of my eye I saw a younger version of Harry looking down at us.

I called my OH to say that I'd seen a dog like Harry and we both ran up to see him - but there was no sign of a dog.

It's happened once or twice after - in the same place.

It may be my imagination and some may think I'm mad but I think it was Harry's way of communicating with us.

It was the spitting image of Harry - but a younger version.

He used to love those walks so much. It's the image I have of him in my mind the way he used to look so happy when we were driving up to that part of the park.

Even if it's my imagination - it's a good feeling to know he's looking down on us wherever he may be........RIP Harry - still thinking of you every single day x

Odd, but I get the same thing occasionally when I walk Layla..Every once in a while Snoopy shows up. Don't know if I'm nuts or not, but it's fine with me.

I'm also convinced Snoops had a hand in finding Layla for us. The 2 are so similar it's eerie.

Lisa you are making me cry again!!! I am sure it was Harry trying to let you know its ok to move on.

I am afraid I am having a bad week on here at the moment. Been in tears half the time. Reading some of the other posts it has made me so frightened of losing Sami. I know I am being silly and I probably shouldn't say anything there is no reason for me to think she is going any time soon.

Anyway Lisa I think Harry is waiting to see who you rescue next.

Tracy

I've also experienced similar - didn't like to say cos thought you might think I'm mad
Seems to be when Zennie is really enjoying himself - I see the exact same dog as Zymbre, but when I go over to see - not there !!!

I also think Zymbre brought Zennie to me - he came the day after Zymbre died and was going to be pts 4 days later !!!!!
He now seems to have so many traits similar... but he's his own little man
(3 each )

OMG!!! EXACTLY the same. We found Layla just one day after Snoops died and Layla was in a shelter in Montreal where she was scheduled to be pts. Don't quite know how many days away...but isn't this strange??

And yes, similar traits, but she's her own girl too. Sometimes when we see her do something Kath and I just look at each other and I usually say.."her sister taught her that" Meaning Snoopy.

There are many things on this earth that we do not understand. I, for one, believe in 'spirits' or whatever you want to call them.

Why shouldn't Harry want to keep an eye on you? You gave him what was probably the best 16 months of his life & he still wants to take care of you.

After I lost my old norweigan forest cat, I kept seeing her. A shadow out of the corner of my eye, I'd turn and it was gone. I had some very real dreams that she was in my bedroom, and even now years on I still have a dream of me holding her, protecting her, usually when something's trying to get me in my dream.

No idea what that's all about.. I'd like to think the spirit of our animals is with us in some form.
