Rip maisy

In jan i posted that my female sheperd was ill and that the vets said they thought it was anal furunculosis . She had a operation to sort that out but still had problems with her weight so they put her on fish rice and chicken and eggs diet 6 times a day but she still was not putting weight on

She was on steroids and antibotics as they thought she may have had a infection some where but they done the blood test and couldnt find anything

Since jan she had been going to the vet twice a month for check ups
then in july she started to be sick on a regular basis so they gave he anti sickness jabs and gave me more pills for her to be taken hour before her food
so all in all she was on 9 tablets a day
14 th of july she was trying to be sick and heaving but to no avail took her back again again they gave her anti sickness jabs and more pills took her home via the park her legs were going under neath her so back in the c ar and home

17th july same thing again so back to the vets more anti sickness jabs told to carry on with the pills
She was not sick or trying to be sick for a while so we were thinking good shes getting sorted finally
22ND back to vets again as she was trying to be sick again but nothing happenning so another anti sickness jab but when we there he said she had put on 1lb which he said was good for her and told us to bring her back in late august unless we had any more problems so we were really pleased she looked like she was finally getting back on form

27th july back at the vets another anti sickness jab and more anti sickness pills ok then until 30th where she was sick really badly rang the vets he said give her a double dose of anti sickness pills
done that she slept all night and was fine

Then on friday 31st she was really ill again hardly able to stand crying and really restless and trying to be sick again but nothing happening

Rang the vet again took her to after surgurgy seen another vet who advised us to have her put to sleep as she was so poorly
Maisy was only 8 years old and she weighed 48lbs
I tried and tried to get her well but to all avail She ate better than us some days lol

Now our house is soooo quiet her dad who is 12 just sits and whines and cant be bothered to do anything

Maisy is being cremated and brought home to sleep in the garden under the tree where she always sun bathed

Run free Maisy, R.I.P sweetheart.

I too lost my boy Max (GSD) to Anal Furunculosis 5 years ago, he was aged 7 & 10 months old.

Our thoughts are with you. Poor wee Maisie. Did the vets come to any conclusion as to what it was?
