The only blessing is that he woould not have enjoyed life if he had lived as he would have been an invalid and for a lad who loved life it would have been cruel. He taught me a lot as I never realised that dogs could get lupus and I certainly never realised how horrible a disease it is

Marilyn, we so understand its a shame when they are taken from us, you so need to remember the good times, not the the days that lead up to the bad times...........is so bloody hard,

Every time George is stiff in the morning, I feel cruel taking him for the short walk he is allowed..............but then the good days, especially when we went to towyn for the week, you would of look at him and said what are you on about

But when days like to day come, when he cannot be arsed to even stand up, never mind go for a walk, I think........am I being cruel

You did what was best, and if anyone understands then I do

I am sending the biggest hug me and George can do

I have just beried my dogs ashes and reading your post made me so very thankful that we had Zak for nearly 13 beautiful years.

My heart goes out to you.
