I have always been advised once a month until 6 months and then every 3 months until 12 months old. Then twice a year.

You Guys are great, thanks once again. I would be lost with out your advice so please forgive my endless questions, I am just a bit worried that I will get it wrong and my Mishka is worth the best life she can have. God I sound so soppy now don't know what's happened to me! It must be puppy love (OK so I will never make a comedian.

I haven't wormed or flead Del for 6 years. My vet agreed that when they are adults it's a personal choice and I have an ingrained hatred of chemicals and medicines. Just the thought of 6 years worth of unnecessary chemicals on my boy makes me shudder. Funnily enough vet does the same for his dog so I figured I must be onto something!

Same here - I only ever de flea my pets (including cats) when I see signs of fleas and to be honest I have only ever wormed my dogs when they were puppies (they did not eat any raw) or when I first got them.
Must have saved pounds over the years!!!

Although I do sort of agree with you, I get really worried about the spread of the Toxocara worm & its effects on humans, especially kids, so I do worm him. It isn't always every 3 months, though!
