Diva's first official outing!!

Hi All! Diva's 11.5 weeks and today is the day she can officially be allowed on the ground (had her final jabs two weeks ago). Yipee!! Her and my partner walked me to the bus stop this morning, she was very excited, but did very well. She didnt seem spooked or too overwhelmed by the surrounding noises and people. We'd already taken her places for that all important socialization but I guess it's a different feeling when they are out of the safety of their owner's arms so we are very proud of her!! She kept sniffing the ground like mad, and tried running after leaves, bless her! First puppy class tonight, cant wait as she hasnt been in too mcuh contact with otehr pups/ dogs since she left the breeders almost 4 weeks ago..It will be interesting to see how she interacts with the other pups and the trainer's 5 year old GSD, which she brings to each session!!

Tedsmum will become famous soon enough
What a big day for Diva!
Brilliant that you are taking her to classes tonight but don't be disappointed if it is all a bit overwhelming for her at first.
My dog just barked continually for a whole hour but others hide under the chair and refuse to come out.
I am sure she will come to enjoy it as my Ted did and it will definately do her the world of good. x

Good luck, like Tedsmum said it may be a bit overwhelming for her to start off with, but they soon come round and start enjoying the training as much as you!

Good for you! Good luck at the class tonight. The first time mine went he was 13 weeks old & he only lasted about 20 minutes before he fell asleep!!

Thanks all for your nice comments. I am not worried bout Diva not enjoying the class as she is a very confident puppy, just hope she doesnt get too 'crazy' like she sometimes does with us and end up trying to 'play bite' one of the other pups too hard?! Anyway the trainer's GSD is there to police the pups and wont tolerate such unladylike behaviour, ah ah! Might do her good actually to be told off as she can be a bit bossy at times, well at least she tries, bless her!!
