how often to feed.

At what age can I swap Mishka's meals to twice a day, at the moment she has breakfast, bone snack mid morning, lunch then dinner.

super D has a spectacular aura about
Both my big boys where on 2 meals by 6-7 months of age, they basically stopped eating the lunch time one, the same goes for my little border collie.
Rayden is still on 3 meals, he is 10 months old, but we have trouble keep weight on him, so only recently down to 3 meals, but its going ok so far xx

we had a booklet off the breeder with food guidance in that

this is what ours says

complete food guide

8 weeks 225grms split into 3 meals increase gradually to ten weeks old

10 weeks old 300grms split into 3 meals (100grm each meal) increase gradually until 12 weeks

12 weeks old 360grms split into three meals (120g each meal) increase gradually until 6 MONTHS old

6 months old BITCHES - 460g split into 2 meals (230g each meal)
DOGS - 570g split into 2 meals (285g each meal)

9 months to 12 months - a LOWER PROTEIN DIET SHOULD BE GIVEN
Bitches 1lb (455g) DOGS - 1&1/2 lbc(680g)
re:9-12 months - SOME people reduce to one meal per day the breeder has put they prefer to stay with two meals a day.

Amounts may vary slightly depending on individual requirements

POULTRY OR FISH BONES SHOULD NEVER BE GIVEN

We feed kane twice a day now and have done since the guide recommended it -

HOPE THIS HELPS
