Floppy ear syndrome!!

Hi All!

Can I ask.....Elbe is nearly 11 weeks old now and although I know GSD have floppy ears as puppies, how long before they stand up? Her right ear is well on the way and always perks up when something grabs her attention or she is called, but her left ear has NEVER seemed to be able to stand up at all! It just stays to the side. I have checked her ear and the base is quite strong, I'm wondering if she is missing cartiledge on the lobe or am I being over cautious?! Any advise?

anything up to 6months is normal occassionally it can be as late as 9, if it hasn't happened by then then it would be unlikely to go up, if the base is strong thats a good sign.
