Bowl

Hi guys,

I've recently stumbled on a rather strange habit that storm has gotten into, and that is he doesn't like to finish off the lasts bits of his food from his bowl,
Instead he picks them up and puts them all on the floor, then finishes them.

Any advice on what to do?

Some dogs can come up with some very strange habits,.he simply dosent like the bowl, or the link in the collar makes a noise against the bowl,... he sees a reflection in the bowl [ metal bowl],... I wouldnt worry, put the bowl on a newspaper, or simular

I wouldn't worry about it. They get some strange habits.

With Dempsey, if he's had enough (rarely) and there's a bit left in the bowl (almost never) he tries to bury it in the carpet!

jesterjenn has a spectacular aura about
If it were me, I'd leave him to it

When my two eat their dinner, they take most of it out of the bowl and eat it off the floor. They're raw fed so it can get messy, but they usually clean their own mess up

When you give Sami a "sunday lunch" she takes out all the veg and puts it on the floor, eats all the meat first, then the potatoes and then finishes the veg!!

Max always used to tip his bowl up after he had finished to try and find where it filled up from!!!

They all have their weird habits.

And my first GSD wouldnt eat out of a bowl at all.

If we tipped it on the floor he would eat like a dog possessed! Luckily he was on dry only!
