Puppy buyers guide.

Could we do with a sticky puppies buyers guide on here. Have looked at the champdogs ones but what about a GSD specific one from experts who have been through the process on here?

a minimum of 5 generations low hip scores - also check out sire/dams sibblings
a minimum of sire/dam elbow scored 0

if sire is from Germany you need a zw below 100

Haemophillia tested clear for male

dont go to a breeder who breeds for non standard colours - too many health poblems in the lines and weak temps

get pedigree checked to make sure no epileptic producers in the lines

dont go off what the breeder tells you ask to see copy of certificates of health test results

speak to other owners who have bought from the breeder you are going to

make sure you at least see the dam, check her temp, check cleanliness of where you are buying from - research, research dont buy on a whim

Thanks for that some good tips there. If anyone else wants to chip in. We could also do with a list of GSD friendly vets or just generally trustable vets by area. I have too many ideas someone stop me.
