Weeing issues

Any advice for a doggie that wets herself everytime we try to put the lead on her, she also did it this morning when we got up, so i think its from excitement, it's never a lot of wee, and she still goes outside?

Caryll is a jewel in the rough
Almost certainly excitement!

Try putting the lead on at various times of the day without taking her out (sounds cruel, I know), that way she won't get all over excited every time, cause she won't know when she's actually going to go out.

Agreed,.. and good advice given,..even letting her walk around with the lead on at times in the house,.. just so she doesnt just connect the lead with walks

She has just been spayed, 3 years old. Can that mean something?

Sometimes bitches spayed young have incontinence but that's not Zelda's case.

I'd say it was excitement, she's settling in with you and probably thinks you're the best thing ever! Keep everything low key for now. You could try putting the lead on outside and making her sit while you do it.

Remus will still have a wee if I fuss him sometimes when he's not seen me for a bit - often still holding a toy in his mouth. Then looks all sorry for himself, bless him.

Well this morning, she wee'd when my boyf came into where she sleeps, so i think it is a major excitement thing as in "Yayy your up, play with me, play with me!"

He is spending the whole day with her today taking the lead on and off throughout the day, going into the bedroom, closing the door, coming out again, going for an extra long bath and putting her in the crate etc etc!

Diesel used to do this when he was a puppy, you need to ensure all interaction with her is calm and try not to overly fuss her too much when you first see her, this should calm her down a bit and the weeing will stop.
