Hi Stuart, you are in good position to change then - I don't blame you.

I haven't been that fortunate with Lukey, although he is stable on his meds, so I am stuck with Petwise but the unerwriters have changed and the premium dropped althought the excess has gone up. Fortunately the meds have stablised him and I have to be grateful for this.

Fi805 (I don't think I know your name) hope all goes well for your 'wee girl' who must be growing quite a bit by now (pics please).

This has been an interesting discussion, thanks.
Linda

Hi Guys
Same situation, a few people have talked to have said go with KC/Pet Plan the vets seems to endorse Pet Plan heavily, although on face value both seem have good conditions EG reinstatement of Vet fee's per year, although they are expense coming in at around £35 I believe for my four month old GSD.

Hi Linda - thank you, Isla is doing really well, I can't believe how well she has settled down from those first couple of weeks We are so much happier these days! And yes, she has more than doubled in size already! Will post some pics soon! It's Fiona by the way

I found this site.... VetsMedicover www.vetsmedicover.co.uk Reviews at Review Centre which seems to rate VetsMediCover quite highly. Hope the link opens up. Also, from talking to some local dog owners, Argos seems to be a good 'un too.

Thanks for posting this. I've just insured Jack with them. Petplan/Kennel club couldn't get anywhere near this premium or excess for this level of insurance.
It's not the cheapest ever but £28 for £10k/year lifetime cover isn't bad IMO. Kennel club didn't even bother to try and petplan said £80.
10-14 days to settle claims is also better than the current cover I have for JL with Direct Line who can take up to 6 blimmin weeks. If JL didn't have the pre-existing condition of the pollen allergy I'd swap him over as well!
