Flea treatment advice please!
Hello everyone I have quite a basic question I would like answered,
Basically my pup was fleaed at 8 weeks using frontline treatment, I'm going to continue using frontline but am I right in thinking it won't need doing again until 16weeks? Also she was wormed last week at 12 weeks so she now will want worming again at 6, 9 and 12 months then every four months, am I correct?
Many thanks in advance!
Liam and Ruby (Roo-Roo).

I don't flea mine in the winter, I spray the house, then start again with the dogs in the spring
I don't worm mine, they have Advocate, flea + worm treatment, I know it doesn't cover some wormy things but touch wood works with mine

I don't flea mine unless there's a reason to, I just don't like chemicals for the sake of it.
Worming's a different matter; I think the consensus of opinion is every month until 6 months and then every 3 months.

your pup should be wormed two weekly untill 16 week then 3 monthly - worms will only be seen in the feaces if there is an extremely large burden
re fleas i use monthly spot on during spring/summer/autumn in winter when the heating comes on i spray the house with Indorex

Kira was wormed every month up to six months on vet advice (I have small grandchildren visiting) and then every three months. Best to check with the vet - I think it may depend on what wormer you are using.

I think it's more important to worm if you feed raw

I don't flea mine either now, I'm not comfy with the chemicals for no reason.
As for worming I do that once a year but both of mine are fed dry food..x
