How much exercise?

How much exercise at 17 weeks should Isla get? She is taken out in the mornings (Monday to Friday) for about 20 minutes on her lead and in the afternoons I take her to the park where she is off lead, we play ball, or she has a run around with her doggy friends for maybe 45 minutes to an hour.
At the weekends she has a longer walk off lead in the mornings an hour to an hour and a half, in the forest so she is on grass and soft ground and then half an hour on lead walk in the evening. She always seems to enjoy the walks and has never shown any signs of being tired, or is this her just trying to please us? When we walk her off lead she will stop and sit if we meet anyone plus if she is ahead she will stop and wait for us to catch up, so she is not walking constantly. She is always very eager to go out for her walks, plus she is a lot calmer at home when she has had a good play and walk. Is this about the right amount of exercise?

I think you're probably overdoing the lead walks, although someone better qualified than me will be along soon to say if that's right or wrong!

I know of people that state length and times of walks etc and this is to do with the development of the bones, too much exercise at such a young age can be damaging to the delicate bones they have. I am sure somebody will state these times for you.
I think as long as Isla isn't doing strenuous, constant running on your walks then you should be fine, when we walk say 2 miles with a dog, they have probably done double that as there as here there and everywhere

Its the walking on lead that I am not sure about, and would go with others advice,.. but I am sure that the off lead work is fine,.. if the dog is off lead they are able to let you know better if they become tired,.. on the end of a lead it might not be so easily spotted

General feeling is 5 minutes per month of life per day. Up until 1 year old. This is for on lead walks only, offlead or running in the garden is pretty much how ever much they want. So My Sasha is almost 7 months, that means roughly 35 minutes onlead per day.
