Oh Stuart, you have made me so broody again.
I remember how exciting it was to go and get that stuff, I spent a fortune at PAH before I had even seen my puppy.
And yes, you need several of everything especially collars and leads. The teeny tiny one you buy to begin with will last about 2 weeks and those needle teeth will tear up all those cute toys in hours!

Personal circumstances mean that I can't have a puppy now until around March/April. I won't be going to view the pups I had planned to see at the weekend as I won't be able to reserve one anyway. So I'll be searching again and scanning the net for pups due early Spring.

Oh well, can't be helped.

I'm okay about it. The plan was that I would be moving back in to my own house shortly but things haven't worked out that way. I am currently renting while my ex is living in the family house (been a long 4+ years divorce). Have to go back to court (5th time) as he is not complying with court orders. He thinks that he should be entitled to keep everything we own (the business, a flat that's rented out and the family house) just because he pays the school fees! I just want the house for me and the children, and assurance that the children will stay in their school but he keeps threatening their fees if I go for the house.

Been the most stressful 4+ years in my life. Once it's all over and I am back in my house with the children, we can then get a puppy.

Sorry, boring message, but at least it explains things.

Sorry to hear that you can't get your pup yet, but at least you have plenty of time to research the type of shepherd you want and find the right breeder for you.

I am a firm believer in what's meant to be will be. Just got news that the rented house I am living in has now sold! I need to vacate on 3rd February which is on the day that I have my final court hearing. The day is NOT getting better

Anyway, this is not a divorce forum.

Yes I will eventually get a puppy
