4th Generation?

Seen a breeder advertising pups to hopefully be ready in June but usually ive seen breeders with 5 generations. This one has 4 generations. Is this ok?

It depends on how far back you want to go. Some will only supply a three generation pedigree!

You can always trace it back further yourself. Is the breeder a reputable one? Do they health test all their breeding stock? Are the hip & elbow scores readily available for you to see?

You may get a 5 gen pedigree certificate when you finally collect your pup. Some breeders only show 3 or 4 gen on their web sites. You could always ask the breeder to see the 5 gen pedigree or maybe check on the pedegree database. You may find up to 6 gen pedigree on here.

The breeder was Draycore GSD. They wanted £850 for a pup.

Wow £850 seems alot to me, but its been a very long time since I bought a pup. I would have thought about £600 from a decent breeder, but I guess it maybe depend on where in the country you are! Does it?
