Timmo, it's almost impossible to tell how a pup will look once it's fully grown. Even the coat colour can change over time. The 'sloping back' is a feature of the breed, but show dogs are encouraged to accentuate it. There should be a gentle slope towards the hind quarters, not so bad as if they look like they're dragging their arse on the ground. I'm not a lover of the big slope. My old Rudi is so straight backed you could put a spirit level on him. Kimber, our younger bitch has that very gentle natural slope. When she runs it's poetry in motion.

I don't mind a gentle slope but obviously not as though there dragging there behind like you said.
